Why not register domains in your personal name? 🚩
Registrar (and/or the registry) policies can expose the UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) even with private whois, or the registrar itself can impose a "clientHold", whereas the registry can impose a "serverHold" in which case the registrar can't do anything about it. Sites have been dropped or had services terminated by infra providers under public pressure (e.g., CloudFlare’s 2022 Kiwi Farms action) and registrars have refused or set domains on "clientHold" in high‑profile cases (e.g., Daily Stormer after Charlottesville). Law enforcement can also seize domains via court orders (depending on the jurisdiction). These risks may impact unrelated, lawful operators who simply want distance between personal identity and online assets. Stay anonymous.

Registering domains with fake PII (Personally Identifying Information) has been a common practice since the dawn of the Internet. Our honest advice is to not do it if the domain isn't a throwaway. Use the aforementioned alternatives (your own company, friend or relative) or our service.
